About Zoë
Zoë Ruzecki, founder of Sántas, is a first-generation Jewelry Designer and Goldsmith with over a decade of experience.
She first discovered the craft at just 10 years old after becoming captivated by a local jeweler working in the bay window of a small shop in her hometown. Mesmerized by the process of soldering, polishing, and stone setting — the transformation of raw materials into something deeply personal and beautiful — she began studying under the jeweler and spent her summers and afternoons after school learning ancient goldsmithing techniques.
What began as childhood curiosity quickly evolved into a lifelong dedication to the craft.
Today, Zoë works from her private NYC jewelry studio where she runs her namesake brand, Sántas. She designs and hand crafts each jewel entirely in-house, making her one of the few women-owned fine jewelry brands operating with such a deeply hands-on and personalized approach. Her work is rooted in the belief that jewelry carries sentiment, symbolism, and human connection, reflecting the identity and stories of those who wear it.
At the intersection of artistry, luxury, and uncompromising craftsmanship, Sántas creates jewelry designed to carry individuality and enduring meaning, passed down for generations.
